Dr. Grace Walker's practice at her self-named Physical
Therapy and Pain Center in California permits her to use her natural skills and
formal learning experiences in treating several conditions, such as sports
rehab, back pain, and pain in the upper and lower extremities. As a physical
therapist, Dr. Grace Walker works hard to ensure the respect of patients by
providing quality care, using methods such as pressure point release to relieve
pain. Dr. Walker believes in teaching what she practices. In addition to
lecturing for various professional associations, she has participated as
primary faculty member in several presentations, most recently in Orange,
California. She mentors physical therapy students and interns in outpatient
settings and serves as a consultant to other therapists. She also advises
businesses on injury avoidance and proper back care for employees. She recently
earned a certificate as a health instructor at Villanova University's Center
for Obesity Prevention Education. Her practice's website: Walkerpt.com maintains a blog,
covering such issues as arthritis, rotator cuff tears, and pain in the feet and
ankles. One recent post described aches and pains resulting from smartphone
use. In her spare time, Dr. Walker enjoys making Memory books, skiing, Pilates, and reading. She is
devoted to Golden Retrievers as pets and as therapy dogs.
