The author of numerous articles, presentations, and lectures related to physical therapy, Grace Walker, physical and occupational therapist, practices in Orange County, California, at the center she opened more than 30 years ago. The Walker Physical Therapy and Pain Center helps patients with affordable pain relief in a wide range of ailments, including pain from on-the-job, sports, and other injuries as well as postsurgical pain. Patients also visit Grace Walker physical therapist and Holistic Health Care practitioner,  to consult on nutrition, women’s health issues, ergonomics, holistic healing, and aromatherapy.

While Dr. Walker’s lectures and presentations have primarily focused on topics related to physical rehabilitation, such as treatment of various types of pain, treatment of the foot and ankle, and issues associated with the cervical and lumbar spine, she has also lectured on cervical dysfunction and urinary incontinence, as well as how to grow one’s private practice. In addition to maintaining a busy practice and giving presentations and lectures,Grace has published four papers, one of which is peer reviewed.

Grace Walker’s lectures, writings, and presentations are a more formal way she shares her learning and experience with others in her field. She also mentors sPhysical therapists in the orthopedic outpatient setting, sharing her expertise in a hands-on manner not always suitable for the lecture hall.
