An accomplished physical therapist, Grace Walker founded an Orange County, California-based physical therapy and pain center. In her role as director of the facility, she delivers a high standard of outpatient care to individuals impacted by conditions like TMJ, sports injuries, incontinence, and spinal pain. Before establishing her own therapy practice, Grace Walker gained hands-on experience in her field as physical therapist and department head with Cigna Health Plan in Westminster, California. In preparation for her career, she studied at the University of British Columbia School of Rehabilitation Medicine, from which she secured her bachelor of science. Later, she enrolled in an orthopedic residency program in Hayward, California. While there, she authored a thesis titled “An Exploratory Study of Patients with Low Back Pain to Determine Possible Precipitating Factors.” More recently, Dr. Walker studied at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. She graduated with two doctorates and later completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Gray Institute. Further, she holds certification as a Clinical Nutritionist and a Clinical Master of Herbology from the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy in Encinitas, California. Currently, she is working toward her certifications as naturopathic practitioner and nutritional chef at the same institute. A professionally engaged provider, she belongs as member to the American Back Society and the Pelvic Pain Society, among several other organizations

Based in Orange, California, Dr. Grace Walker serves as Director, Physical and Occupational therapist with the Walker Physical Therapy and Pain Center. She and her staff offer clients a full range of rehabilitation services, including sports enhancement and occupational therapy. Dr. Grace Walker and her team of physical therapists are experts in pain relief and use revolutionary treatments including hands on Pressure Point releases, Kinesiotaping, ML830 laser, and Flex N Move programs. Her focus is on enabling people to recover full use of their bodies and return to active, healthy lifestyles. Dr. Walker earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia’s School of Rehabilitation Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy, and pursued an Orthopedic Residency in Hayward, California, offering a thesis titled, “An Exploratory Study of Patients with Low Back Pain to Determine Possible Precipitating Factors.” She subsequently completed doctoral programs in Physical and Occupational therapy at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah, offering a thesis on Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Additionally, Dr. Walker in order to add Wellness to her practice, has achieved Certification as a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner after a Certification In Nutrition, a Master of Herbology and a Master of Aromatherapy from the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy in Encinitas, California. Dr. Walker is currently working on her Certified Nutritional Chef program and her Certified Naturopathic practitioner.

Digging for truffles is "therapy" says Grace Walke, physical and occupational therapist.  For more than 30 years, Dr. Grace Walker has served as an Occupational and Physical Therapist at Walker Physical Therapy and Pain Center. Also its owner, Walker provides outpatient treatment to patients with conditions such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, and temporomandibular joint disorders. This organization has allowed her to aid others as well as teach medical groups and medical students about physiological health care. Since starting this business, Grace Walker earned a patent for a spinal and soft tissue mobilizer and was nominated for Business Woman of the Year in 2006. To prepare for her career, Walker acquired a bachelor of science in physical therapy and occupational therapy from the University of British Columbia School of Rehabilitation Medicine. Subsequently, she completed postgraduate work at an Orthopedic Residency Program in Hayward, California, and wrote a thesis about examining patients with lower back pain to discover precipitating factors. After gaining experience in physical therapy through her Orange, California, facility, Grace Walker returned to school to obtain additional credentials. As a student at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah, she took postgraduate courses toward a doctor of physical therapy and a doctor of occupational therapy and graduated as valedictorian. She has also been certified as a Clinical Nutritionist and a Certified Clinical Master of Herbology with the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy. Presently, Walker is working toward certification as a Naturopathic Practitioner and as a Nutritional Chef.
