Based in Orange, California, Dr.
Grace Walker serves as Director, Physical and Occupational therapist with the
Walker Physical Therapy and Pain Center. She and her staff offer clients a full
range of rehabilitation services, including sports enhancement and occupational
therapy. Dr. Grace Walker and her team of physical therapists are experts in
pain relief and use revolutionary treatments including hands on Pressure Point
releases, Kinesiotaping, ML830 laser, and Flex N Move programs.. A focus is on
enabling people to recover full use of their bodies and return to active,
healthy lifestyles. Dr. Walker earned her bachelor’s degree at the University
of British Columbia’s School of Rehabilitation Medicine, Physical Therapy, and
Occupational Therapy, and pursued an Orthopedic Residency in Hayward,
California. offering a thesis titled, “An Exploratory Study of Patients with
Low Back Pain to Determine Possible Precipitating Factors.” She subsequently
completed doctoral programs in Physical and Occupational therapy at the Rocky
Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah, offering a thesis on
Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Additionally, Dr. Walker in order to add Wellness
to her practice, has achieved Certification as a Holistic Healthcare
Practitioner after a Certification In Nutrition,a Master of Herbology and a
Master of Aromatherapy from the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy in
Encinitas, California. Dr. Walker is currently working on her Certified
Nutritional Chef program.

About Grace Walker Physical Therapist

While Dr. Walker’s lectures and presentations have primarily focused on topics related to physical rehabilitation, such as treatment of various types of pain, treatment of the foot and ankle, and issues associated with the cervical and lumbar spine, she has also lectured on cervical dysfunction and urinary incontinence, as well as how to grow one’s private practice. In addition to maintaining a busy practice and giving presentations and lectures,Grace has published four papers, one of which is peer reviewed.
Grace Walker’s lectures, writings, and presentations are a more formal way she shares her learning and experience with others in her field. She also mentors students and interns in the orthopedic outpatient setting, sharing her expertise in a hands-on manner not always suitable for the lecture hall.
